3-D Art Festival and Gallery Tour
Gallery openings in member galleries feature three dimensional artists in clay, glass, fiber, furniture, jewelry, and mixed media.
Artist members of the Art Alliance demonstrate process and technique in the gardens of the Idyllwild Area Historical Society. 1-4 p.m.

Aardvark Gallery – Proud to open our doors to the public on permanent display are photographs by Sports Illustrated Magazine contributor John Leonard Barnwell. Also featuring fine art paintings, pastels, drawings and photographs by local professional and student artists.

Artisans Gallery – Artisans Gallery, Oakwood Village: You want 3-D art? Artisans Gallery has 3-D art in wood, acrylic, bronze, pottery and more. Come see what the locals are up to.

Artspresso – Walk down the garden path and watch the artists create. Mixed media artist Gerry High and raku artist Sergio Naduville will be demonstrating their unique works of art.

Baker Galleries – Baker Galleries, in Idyllwild for 12 years, features an incredible array of 3-D art, including lacework wood turnings, bronze sculptures, manzanita candle holders, ceramics, fine art gourd work, all wood lamps, hand blown glass lamps and very unusual pine needle weavings.

CafĂ© Aroma – Local artists Windean Dahleen and Rachel Welch debut their multi-media abstract works.

Courtyard Gallery – Assemblages, installations, wall reliefs, ceramics; 3-D at it’s best! The Visual Arts faculty from Idyllwild arts Academy join the Courtyard Gallery artists for this special event.

Everitt’s Minerals and Gallery – Featuring jewelry by Janet & Larry Everitt artists/owners.

Feats of Clay – Featuring the works of internationally collected ceramicist David Salk.

Florist In The Forest & Gallery – Featuring the multi-media works of Donna Lori Parker.

Flying Pigments Studio – Showcasing Idyllwild resident Kathleen Chaney maker of maps, book covers, illustrations and three dimensional art, one of her maps is encased on the Pacific Crest Trail in Garner Valley. Dore Capitani of Mountain Metals will also be featured in our sculpture garden. Along with Jan Jasper-Fayer & Janet Johnson

Four Corners Fine Art Gallery – AAI Artist of the Year 2005 and 2006, Elena Kern’s oils are influenced by the work of early California Plein air painter, Granville Redmond and watercolorist, Percy Gray.

Historical Society – Featuring information about the history of Idyllwild.

Idyllwild Gallery of Fine Art – Clay artists Naira and Rafik Barseghian bring their award winning designs in ceramic tile wood tables, wall sculptures and functional pottery to Idyllwild.

Lily Rock Gallery – Featuring the clay works of Fred Wiesner, Michael Jones and Tom Kendall. Don’t miss our funky teapots by Kenny Delio.
