Thought I'd share a little "diddy" this year for Christmas. Wrote it last year, to feature a giclee, release of "Crow Spirit" a canvas print. The tittle is: "How Much is that Harley in the Window" is sung to "How Much is the Doggie in the Window" hope you enjoy it~ Happy Holidays!

Idyllwild is OK, no fires, tho windy!!!

Idyllwild is ok, except for a few road closures due to down trees.
Power is out downtown Idyllwild, Pine Cove and Fern Valley.

Very windy today..10/23/07

the gallery did get some damage, Dore's large sculpture was
ripped from its stand, tho it is ok & our mile high sign is down.

Local artist, Darcy Gerdes would like to invite you to attend a morning premiere of a long time dream, at the artists first Art Alliance of Idyllwild’s Sat Morning Art Café, Sept 22 to introduce a whimsical collection of illustrations that the essence reflects the spirit of Idyllwild. Each character so far has been based on local townsfolk. One Idynome is selected for each cabin & business (of course, their families live there too along with the Forest Idy’s & their many adventures.)

I’m looking for new faces, all shapes & sizes. Come by the AAI’s Saturday Morning Art Café, 10am-12pm. at the Flying Pigment Studio Art Gardens located at the Mile High Plaza. Get your photo taken to be included as an Idynome. Eventual prints, 3-D Sculptures & Book will be available at a later date.
