Happy New Years!! wishin you "nothin but happiness, come through your door"

new year, new art  . . .

The object of a new year is not that we should have a new year.
It is that we should have a new soul. G. K. Chesterton

May your troubles be less,

And your blessing be more.

And nothing but happiness,

Come through your door

Happy New Year, Darcy

Santa Claus Is Coming To Town . . . Gonna find out Who's naughty OR nice

Santa Claus Is Coming To Town

You better watch out
You better not cry
Better not pout
I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is coming to town

He's making a list
And checking it twice;
Gonna find out Who's naughty and nice
Santa Claus is coming to town

He sees you when you're sleeping
He knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake!

O! You better watch out!
You better not cry
Better not pout
I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is coming to town
Santa Claus is coming to town

"Santa Claus Is Coming to Town" (sometimes with Coming changed to Comin') is a Christmas song. It was written by J. Fred Coots and Haven Gillespie, and was first sung on Eddie Cantor's radio show in November 1934. It became an instant hit with orders for 100,000 copies of sheet music the next day and more than 400,000 copies sold by Christmas.

More Info:

"I love to collect and draw Santa's
When I was a kid, my Uncle Steve would call and pretend to be Santa.
My sisters and I absolutlely believed it was Santa and that he was checking his list to see if we'd been good. . ."

Father Christmas

"The long velvet robe, trimmed in mink, provides swift movement from place to place . . . Antique sleigh bells & braided cords worn on his pouch signify hope . . . Twigs of evergreen decorating his beret & staff represent the harbinger of spring . . . The Bag of Switches slung over his shoulder provides children with a incentive to be good or else...

Wherever Father Christmas goes, he brings the Magic & Beauty of Christmas with Him. ..

Merry Christmas to all!~
